Sounds like I would have really enjoyed that parade. You should definitely go out and about again and enjoy the festivities! The cards were sent seperately. No harm to have a bit of cleaning experience!

I did look them up already and they have a session on a Thursday nights. I haven't gone cos I didn't really want to go on my own and I wouldn't really be able to join in on the whistle anyway.

I,l have to search for Michael Buble so to entertain myself for the Christmas. I Had a short visit last evening from Mary and Muireann. They in good form. Mary has a lovely little black hat to wear with her dress and cape for the wedding. She was all out. There is no change in Nana today. I was googling last night after your blog about being on your own. Have you looked up Irish Club Brisbane. Might be some trad music sessions there. The whistle could come in handy. You should look them up anyway. Some other irish crowd meet for breakfast and drinks. Have a look at them.

Glad you got spoiled for the birthday" because you're worth it" Have my other tree up now so at last the decorations are sorted. It seems to require much more effort when one gets older !! I definitely don't have the same heed on Xmas that I used to have when I was younger. Very little news if any. Work very busy with end of year stuff. Looking forward to the holidays although with the wedding in the middle of them they will appear shorter.

Glad you got the box. Yourself and Tadgh seemed to have a good day. Would it be possible that there was a day or two you didn.t get paid for? You can use a bit of the box with a stamp and address on it if you need to collect any other parcel or maybe you would get a letter of some kind in the meantime to have an address. I had a great time at Kris. Back to work and reality tomorrow. Nana Glynn wasn,t too well this morning but is a bit better this evening. She is very changable at the minute. A day good and a day bad. Hopefully she will settle soon.

Fair play for the award- sounds like a big honour for the girl! I saw a photo of Carols baby alright. She'll be busy with two boys now! Yea was just chatting to Mam yesterday and she has the tree up. I heard Shell is going sorting one out too. I don't know could you really call it a disease now!! I suppose its a form of madness!! There are trees over here and some decorations on houses but they just look out of place in the heat!

Hi Lorraine, The award was for being in the top eight in the country for LCA results-no pecking order just anyone who got 97% or over overall.
Carols new baby is called Dylan John. He seems to look a lot like Ryan-he has the wide Stevens nose bridge. I never knew I had one until I started wearing glasses and couldn't find a pair to sit on my nose properly.
Shell and Shaun just called on their way back from Galway with a box of Gourmet tarts.
Shaun said he has never heard so much talk about xmas in all his life. He reckons we have passed the disease on to our children and I have to agree with him. Shell is going to put up her tree this week I think. I put up the artificial one in the living room on Friday noght and plan to put up the real one in the sitting room later this week. Why do we put such work on ourselves?
Looking forward to the Xmas break but have noyhing done for Xmas yet-there will have to be a big push now shortly-it's hard when I am working every day.
