I feel exhausted just reading that blog-I realise more and more that I am not an adventurous person !! The thought of sleeping in the top bunk without something to protect me from falling out would mean I would be afraid to close my eyes all night.
Jenny Dave and Claire went to David Guetta(not sure about that spelling ?) last night in Dublin. Jenny had bought the tickets as an anniversary present for the pair but she was really disappointed with the weather-it had been raining most of the day so I'd say it was a mess by evening. Haven't heard any feedback yet.
I think Mam and Dad might come this direction the weekend after next which would be nice. Hopefully they do and Aiden can return the favour to Dad with a game of golf !!
No more news for now. Chat soon

We had special gloves on in the ice bar. Th glasses were made of thick ice anyway so they would have taken a while to melt! The glacier did live up to my expectations thankfully!!

I really DO know how to spell INTRIGUED !!!
Margaret Mcd
Intriged by the glasses made from ice ! How can a person hold them without them melting ?? I presume they have to be held with a little napkin or some such thing ?
No news really. Getting quite good at the dossing. Still have a week left which is great. Chat soon
Mam

Yes we are a sad bunch when our August highlight is the Rose of Tralee !! Old habits die hard. I am trying to encourage mam and dad to come to the north-east for a visit but not having any success as yet.
Really enjoying being off now-every year it takes me at least two weeks to change the tempo and really relax !!
Thanks for the anniversary wishes. HGere's to the next 37-I will be 95 by then le cúnamh Dé !!

Delighted with the daily updates. I am married 37 years today and both Aiden and myself agree that it feels more like 137 !! I had a lovely visit from Shaun and Michelle this morning complete with a lovely fresh cream Bailey's cake !!! They seemed in great form after the holiday but Shaun said he was happy to back farming !!
I am looking forward to the Rose of Tralee tonight and tomorrow night. How sad a life have I got ? I have another 10 days left before I go back to work so I plan to take it as easy as I can. That's all I can offer for now. Chat soon

At 7am on a cloudy wet miserable Monday morning I feel it could be okay to be cut off from the world! But no such luck here. This five days a week business is taking its toll. Well we just survived yesterday. Corofin just managed to hang onto a one point lead against St. James' and Kilkenny won the hurling. Shell is back in Dundalk getting ready for school and reality. Enjoy your boat trip today.
