Well done Lady! You are some tulip to conquer that trip on you own. Great courage. Looking at the map there is a lot more of South America to see. So if we win that lotto we could all go! We are delighted that all your pick-ups, hostels, tours and flights worked out for you. All the hours of homework for the trip was well worth it. Maybe you got that from your mother. I like to research a trip in case I'd miss anything except my trips are three days in Donegal or Dublin or somewhere a lot less exciting than that big adventure you had. Safe travelling! Give Shane and Mike a big hug from us. They won,t want it but tell them they have to take it! Australia get ready she's on theway!

Sounds awfully sad Margaret. Hope that family get through somehow. Best of luck with going back to school!

Undoubtedly Lorraine you will be fit for Carrantouhill on your return. You should really consider mountain climbing if you ever come back to us. Shell called on her way home from school yesterday. God love her she is wrecked but sayus she will be fine once she gets the routine going. I was supposed to be back today but had to go to a funeral in Co. Monaghan instead. The wife of the co-ordinator in Monaghan died on Wednesday morning while her 11 year old daughter was with her-very very sad. Life really sucks sometimes.
The temperature has really dropped in the past few days which really suits me-I hate the heat.!! People think I am such a weirdo when I say things like that.
No more news for now. Enjoy your last few days travelling alone. Chat soon again

Sounds like you will be well fit for carrantuohill wken you come back. Hope you get to Valparaiso today. Mind yourself anyway.
Mam.
Just looking at your 60th day. . Imagine thats the length Eimhin was on the juice diet. A long time. In one way it went fairly quickly and in another it seems ages ago since ye saw the headless chicken for sale in the shop in Peru. Hope you have a nice two days in Santiago to finish up your trip on a good memory.

Aiden often recites the first line of a poem he did for a local feis as a primary school child- "Tháinig long ó Valparaiso" So now I know where it is at last !!!
Wish you had a blog with sound for the report on the meeting with the boys next week !!
Talk soon

Sounds like american archaeologist William Molloy might have Irish connections !!
You remind me of myself regarding the food. It's obvious that you really enjoy it. I seem to have done little else but eat since I got my holidays- every treat/meet-up I had centred around food. There will have to be changes when I get back to work or there will be another crisis for the wedding at Xmas.
Claire and Dave are going to Lake Garda on the 22nd September amd wait for it- Jenny is going over to Barry in San Diego for two weeks holidays on the 14th !!! Don't even ask because I don't have an answer. As the Sawdocs say "There's no accounting for lovin"
Enjoying my last two days and guess what- I have another lunch appointment at half two today. Better get the jobs done now so that I can relax and enjoy it. Take care!

No a bit surprised the blog would't load and the length of it !!! Glad Claire Fallon wasn't with you when the cockroach appeared or all emergency services would have had to be called!! Stuart is 27 today going on 7. We are going for a family meal this evening.
I called into work yesterday and ended up staying for a half day. I won't go back now until Friday as I got loads done when I was on my own.

You were travelling in style having a TV to yourself. It sounds like Easter Island is going to be a nice relaxing place. You need a bit of that after all the travelling in the last few days. The birthday boy was delighted with his gift. He didn,t do anything exciting except have apple crumble and custard! We were talking to Shane yesterday. He is in great form after moving into a new luxurious house. Imagine you will be seeing him next week. Anyway enjoy your few days there. Chat soon.

Hi Lorraine! Delighted you are on the last count-down and that you will be amongst civilised people and places next Sunday- I'll be able to rest in comfort!. However, it all sounds like it was a wonderful experience and will be an amazing memory to have. Nothing exciting here: On my last day of a weeks holidays today, so I thought I better send you a message: Weather was n't good but we got out every day- we'll probably have a heatwave when Tom goes back to school. You must find it very liberating not to be doing school plans last week!. Muireann will be up to her tonsils getting ready for the WSE and hopefully, everything will go well. I just thought I would try the Blog this morning even though you told us there might n't be Wifi: I was pleasantly surprised to find you are not actually cut-off from the world. I am sure Shane and Mike will be delighted to see you in Oz: It seems like half of Ireland's young people are there, so you will feel at home! Jody is in Brisbane and I think that's where Liam Dalton and Cathal Kyne are too. Have a good break first and then hopefully, you will be able to get some work. Keep in touch and ENJOY!!!

Turns out they have wifi after all so ye don't have to suffer any withdrawal symptoms!
