arghh im getting really annoyed with this stupidyl slow internet cafe! lol. and i have this pancake staring at me in the face and i cant eat it while im typing!! grr.

Anyways, I had my last day at Rasa Ria placement today, we get our flight back to Sepilok tomorrow noon. Ive really enjoyed this placement, even though we've looked after other animals as well as orangutans. The orangs were cute, only 7 of them there in total, but we were mainly with three of the smaller ones - Yoda, Selamat and Merudu. Today we took them to the rainforest for the first time as 2 of them have just come from Sepilok. They were a bit reluctant to go at first but with some temptation of food eventually went climbing in the trees!

The other bigger 4 were in the clinic this morning for health check ups. Their cage, all of them together, put far away from the window. The window has a blind pulled down so tourists cant see in, but i was chopping up food and suddenly saw this blind going up and down! I thought who is that......then saw 4 little faces looking at me! the orangs had managed to move their whole cage to the window, and got the string to pull the blind! they had ruined it completely and were chewing on bits of the metal! theyre so clever, but very naughty!!! hehe.

Have stocked up on pancakes tonight, seeing as i wont be near that pancake stall again! i now have a pancake baby (melly!!) but will hopefully burn that off with some hard work next week?!!!

Got 4 days off, then with the babies at Sepilok in the indoor clinic. The end is coming near...its gone so quick :(

Anyway will update after my trips on my days off! Off on a river cruise and a trip to Turtle Island National Park.
