Day 1. I made it to London! After an overnight flight spent next to two screaming children, I arrived in Heathrow earlier than our scheduled arrival. Flying United was a fairly pleasant expirience and I would most likely use them again to travel. Customs at Heathrow went super fast and I made it through in about 30 minutes... I was not expecting to almost literally walk though. Both times I was at Heathrow before it took upwards of an hour and 15 minutes to complete the process.
After customs, I successfully found my pickup service, picked up a roommate, and traveled to Camden Town. The drivers here in London are crazy ridiculous. The weave in and out like no one's business and they seem to never check blind spots. That is going to take some time to get used to.
Our apartment in Camden is awesome! It is much bigger than any of us were expecting and it has everything that we need. The only downside is that we have a triple and a single, despite what we were told in our orientation information, but its all good. Roll with the punches right?
I can't wait to get started with everything here in London. We are going to have such a great time and I know that this semester is going to be the best one yet. I can't wait for the adventures to come here in London.
