Arrived at O'Hare and checked all five of my bags in with no trouble. Only cost about US$300 for the extra luggage to be checked through to Sydney.

I packed my Wii, camcorder and camera in my carry on luggage. So when I got to security not only did I have to "undress" but I also had to unpack my entire bag and send them through. I will recommend the Rocketdog tennis shoes I got - with one velcro strap. Makes the dressing/undressing at the security check point a lot easier.

I knew O'Hare had wireless access at the airport, so to pass the 4 hours I hopped on the internet and here I am... sitting in a wheelchair... at gate K16 (which is btw the furthest gate on concourse K). Yes, I did say wheelchair. There are no seats next to the one outlet of 3 that actually works, so I pinched one of the wheelchairs that was sitting next to the gate. I'm getting some interesting looks from other travelers. :)

And, now that I've lugged my carry-ons all the way down concourse K, I have to make my way over to concourse H. Nice. I guess my first class upgrade on the ORD-LAX leg will be much appreciated.
