Chania to Rhythmon beautiful, wonderful day. Just before nine this Mornig we were picked up from our hotel and taken to sort our car hire out. After a quick form fill out and chat with the guy we were off. Chania was over an hours drive but we'll worth a visit. It's lovely harbour of little shops and restaurants was quaint. The maritime museum well worth the 3 euros we paid to enter and just walking and soaking up the area was fab. Geting out of Chania was not so easy we had to turn around and found the way eventually.
Then back on the road we missed the stop for the first village we fancied but it was for the best as Rhythmon our secondstop was a large town and we needed the time there. After going crazy in the one way system we finally found a car park and began our walk exploring the castle, the views a lovely bar and many shops in the streets running of from each other, could easily spend a whole day here. The castle was interesting and the area had some lovely views.
Eventually we got back on the road aand after a few discussions about Greek drivers and petrol statipn locatoons we return our hire car. Definitely a good choice as we got to do all the things we wanted at our own pace.
