well hello boys and girls, and welcome to my first journal entry of the long way round!! I am currently in the company of Ben, Lloyd's cousin who lives out here and his housemates. obviously Lloydo is around somewhere but he is making our sarnies for our little expedition tomorrow. but more about that later!

I have also been to China, very briefly as it was my stop over place. Honestly, I think that is the closest I ever want to get to China. Too many Ting Tongs and Jackie Chan's running all over the place!

Apart from being seriously jet slagged, the trip here was eventful and very long! but today's experience was totally worth the flight! Bondi Beach awaited the eager travellers that is Lloyd Davies and Gareth Murphy. I honestly cannot say what I had expected but the beach and Bondi town, seriously Some Bucking! Judith Chalmers and her Wish You Were Here crew would've hated it because of the average age of the people at the beach. no word of a lie, everyone must've been under 25! awesome! Anyhoo, we had a short wonder around Sydney itself, no sightseeing yet, that is Sunday and then made our way to Bondi, 20 mins in the bus. White sand, Surf was up, Water was warmer than your typical welsh summer. the place was off the hook. check the pics!!

Tomorrow we are off to the Blue Mountains in NSW's Great Dividing Range. Plenty to see and do, might get a chance to see some Roos! update soon!

FYI - A flamin gal-la is a noisy bird. when using as an insult, you are insinuating that the person is a noisy so and so!!
