Today is our 5th day in Mendoza, and it has been a very bumpy jouney indeed ! Lets go back to the beginning and give you a short recap of what's happened so far.

First day in we didn't recieve our luggage, so were in the same clothes for 3 days straight...lovely.. We met Jose and Lucila at the airport, they're our mentors while we stay here, and Jay who has been here 4 months and has two left with us :) It was boiling hot that day, we went back to Jose's house who offered us pizza and empanadas, which look a little bit like cornish pasties, but smaller and WAY tastier! We then met Rosemary, the woman we're staying with, and basically went straight to sleep!

Second day was a little better, the winder was cooler, softening the harshness of the sun, and letting us go out and have lunch in the sun with Jay and Elliot without burning :) In the evening we got our luggage and everyone suddenly was in a better mood. The evening was rather eventful, Argentines don't eat till about 10.30 - 11.00 pm, so we'll have to get used to that. We went out around midnigh, 1 am, started drinking..and didn't stop till about 6 am! It was mental!

3rd day was by far my least favourite day. Woke up around midday and started being sick till around 3 pm... no more tequilla for a while me thinks !

Yesterday was very chilled and relaxed, a little lazy day for me and Suzie (my awesome roomate :D) and we basically did nothing except for going for icecream with the whole gang at about 10.30 :) (pm that is..)

Today has been a little better, i though i couldn't take money out with my card but found out i was using the wrong machine all along...silly me right? lol So we topped up our sim cards, got some money out, and now i'm here sitting at an internet cafe, my time almost running out.

So i will love you and leave you all to go and suntan in the park for a while with Suzie, Jay and Elliot! :)
