I flew from Cairns to Darwin today, Sean from Rattle'N'Hum kindly gave me a lift to the airport, and I caught my flight Darwin in preparation for the next part of my tour down the centre of Australia to see the Outback!!
I stayed in a hostel here called The Cav (Cavenagh) which was nice-however they keep it open for the public so you get a lot of locals drinking in the bar so it gets very busy. I couldnt believe the weather here-it was so so hot! one step out the room and you were wanting to jump in an ice bath!!

Today was the start of my tour. I woke up nice and early to catch my bus at 6am to go to Kakadu National Park. I was very nervous as I was travelling alone but I met a lovely family that took me under their wing pretty much which was hallarious and I sat with them for most of the next few days on this sector of my tour!
We stopped at a gorgeous look out on the way over a river which was beautiful and we got some amazing photos. We continued on to the National Park of Kakadu, learning information about the local wildlife that can be found in the area before heading upstairs for a show performed by an Aboriginal girl herself. We learnt how they make their bags, their seats, toys and plates!
