THE DAY OF REVENGE....

So..when I said I was drunk on Wednesday...I failed to mention harrassing our room mates...I got the lid of a bottle and was pouring water on them to see how much I could do before waking them..I was talking to bags very loud, I pretty much woke the whole room. So tonight..when the boys got in. They re-paid me.

I was nice and cosey and they bust in..so loud, slamming the doors to Macaranna, they got my soap dispenser...frothed it up with water..and started pumping it on our faces and beds lol!! I woke up like....whattt theeee. Oh and one of our room mates was so drunk he weed on the floor in our room...oops!

Today I planned a surprise Cake with candles and party hats for everyone in our room to give Holly and Lucy a good send off as they were both leaving me the next couple of days! We celebrated..had cake, ice-cream, pizza -fat day.

First painful goodbye...I said byebye to Lucy :-(

Later this evening I had my trial at the Rattle'N'Hum pub in Cairns. Then Holly and I skyped her family for her Nans 80th Birthday :-)

We had some drinks to celebrate her time in Oz before her leaving me the next morning!

We got up at 8am today as Holly was leaving!! I helped her prepare before saying good-bye when she caught her transfer! -Another sad, sad time!!

Tuesday 1st March 2011

Today I trialled doing promotional work at Gilligans, promoting Jelly Wrestling for the girls so they could win prizes. This was good fun but I decided as they wanted me to work so many hours I wouldnt be able to do it along-side working at the pub too...and I needed the money rather than just free accommodation.

Tillys last day in Cairns! I had to work today too-but I said goodbye to Tilly with the same celebrations with chocolate cake and candles for her...was very upset at work-we then went back afterwards chilled out before I had my third sad, sad time saying goodbye again the next day!

Friday 11th March 2011

We had moved to the hostel next to The Rattle'N'Hum pub- this was because if we worked at the pub we got a discount on the accommodation. I signed up to do the house keeping for two hours per morning to get free accommodation. This was good as every little helps..but my advice is not to stick it out as its not really worth two hours a day as you could earn more working that instead.

I had met a girl in my room called Carmelina, so I basically worked and hung out with her during this time.

Today was St Paddy's Day! We dressed up at work in green with stickers and badges and glitter. This was a really good day ending up with lots of alcohol involved.

MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Everyone at Rattle'N'Hum made this day very special for me as they gave me badges, a little cake with candles, sweets and we all went out tonight for celebration drinks!! Was such a good day considering I had work!! i spoke to friends and family too today, and my best mate Gemma Bettis gave me presents to open on my birthday which made today even more special! Love you Gem!!

The day I got my tattoo!! This means alot to me today as it represents so much that has happened to me already and also reminds me of my time in Australia as I got it done here! I got it done at the tattoo parlour near the P J O'Briens Pub, and it was really good value for money and the people working there were so friendly which made me feel better about getting it done there.

I booked my Kiwi Experience tour today through Mad Travel -as I only have two weeks in New Zealand i had booked the package called Back Paddock as it was an 8 Day Tour. This was great value for money and included all of the main sights that are a must in the South Island. I highly recommend this tour.

I did my SKYDIVE TODAY with Janine!! We got up early to get it out the way asap lol..we were both so nervous but it was the best thing I have ever done, such a great experience and i would recommend it to anyone. We did our skydive in a place called Innisfail. It cost us just over $300 Dollars - you can book a skydive pretty much anywhere in Cairns, but definately shop around for any discounts at the time. We did our dive over land as we were going to do it over the beach but as we had never done a dive before we werent too fussed as at the end of the day it was still going to be gorgeous and we could see the sea, and we are jumping out of a plane..so we saved some cash and went for the cheaper option. YOU HAVE TO DO A SKYDIVE!!

MY LAST DAY AT RATTLE'N'HUM!

I was very sad today..but had worked out how much money i would need to do my trip down the Red Centre in Oz, New Zealand and S.E Asia before heading home...so then decided to come back after my New Zealand tour to work again before heading to S.E Asia!
