Our European adventure has begun, we came off the boat and passed through passport control easily heading up toward Hoorne to visit Gerald and Tonya. Having not had breakfast onboard we stopped at a garage on-route and put on the coffee and made toast (our first breakfast effort) Tonya was arriving home at around 1300 so we drove into Hoorne and went to look around, we had been to Hoorne in November last year but hadn't had much time and completely missed the port so our plan was to find the boats and have a look around. After walking in circles in completely the wrong direction we finally found water and walked up and down the docks, it was so quiet and we spoted no less than 10 herons absolutely beautiful. Heading back to Rupert we grabbed some fries with belguim mayo MMMMMMMmm and sat in the doorway looking round and munching. Headed off to Hoorne and arrived at Tonya and Geralds, had a lovely catch up and some amazing home cooked curry, deciding to stay on here for a couple of days exploring with Tonya and visiting some places in the area with her.
