I just finished reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer (you know, from the Twilight books), and I was amazed by how good it was. I loved it, it was one of those books you don't really want to finish, but you just have to know how it ends... Now I'm sad I finished it, guess I'll just have to reread it ;-)

I'm weird like that, if I've read a new book that I like, I'll usually start rereading it almost immediately. It's amazing what you miss the first time. Well actually I discover something new about a book every time I reread it. That's one of the coolest things about books, I think.

Now I'm anxiously awaiting the release of Inheritance, I can't wait until I can read it, and it has the most amazing timing: it's supposed to come out two days before my birthday, how cool is that?! Took him three years since the last book, so it had better be awesome ;-)

So, enough about books, I've been painting Sadie's vanity this weekend. Well, just the scrollwork along the edges actually, but still... It was fun, although my fingers had about frozen off by the time I'd finished! It's been absurdly cold this weekend. I'm not finished yet, 'cause I still have to do the chair, but it looks so cute!

I also had a new battery put into my car today, so I sincerely hope my car trouble will be over.
