Hi, first of all, I'm fine, I haven't been sick appart from 1 and a half day, but I have, since we arrived in Dhadim after bringing my parents to the airport, never been out of the village. First, the rainfall was so big that we were not able to leave the village by car, and walking takes a lot of time. And now, we are in the easter preparation, this sunday is palmsunday and next sunday will be easter sunday, so most of the time I'm working in the kindergarten and doing some other things in the afternoon, like playing with the children or helping the sisters or Abba Boniface or there is another mass.
So, why I have never uploaded a blog since then is that I have never been in Yabello. The only times when a car went to Dhadim was when I was working in the kindergarten, and then I can't go myself.
Anyway, I'm fine, I like the rainfall, just yesterday there was a huge flat, a river through the village in the evening because of the rain. I couldn't make any pictures because it was still raining and it was becoming dark already. But it was funny, because the next galley, maybe 5 to 10 minutes walking, there was no rain at all.
Another thing that is happening at the moment in the village are the shiftings. People leave their houses and go to live on a bit a higher and further place, about 30min walking. But not because of the rain, but because of the governement. The poeple from the governement said that some of the families had to move, so that new village I visited twice already. Some of the kids from the kindergarten are also there, but they still come to school.
So far, I have to stop writting because we are afraid of the rainfall and we want to go back to Dhadim, before we can't pass anymore. I hope to get the chance to come to Yabello sone again and to upload a real blog, but now you have a bit a clue of what is happening here.
Greetings from rainy and muddy Dhadim, Ethiopia

Fenna Hey Lisa! I was just thinking about you, and saw a new blog is uploaded! Nice to hear that you're doing well! Hope Abba Boniface and the sisters are doing fine as well! It is kinda hard for me to imagine all the rainfall in Dhadim, haha. Enjoy your time!! Greetings to everyone in Dhadim and Yabello! Best wishes, Fenna.
