Hey there
So, I'm in Addis vor about 2 days now. I like it, I like the people, the noise, the smell, but it is still very hard to see all these poor people on streets. Most people live in self-made houses and the rest I don't know.
But this Country is slow, really slow, you wait too long in traffic, it is one mess and the internet is also really really slow and I have to reconect all the time. Besides that the city is dusty.
People do not really work, I don't know what they do, but I see so many people on the roads and everywhere walking and chatting. And there are small taxis which are pritty expensive, then there are bigger taxis where more people can drive with, they are e mix between taxis and buses and then there are buses, but I didn't drive with a Bus.
Tomorrow we will travell to Awasa, stay there a night and then travell down to dhadim, were we stay for a while. But I think we will travell a lot in Borana.
I hope to see some wild animals, Boniface and Father Gerald say we will.
Today I met Jillo Elema, the girl which my family and I are supporting for several years now, she studys at university. She got me a traditional borana cloth, I really like it.
And we changed money today, it is incredible, like one euro is 23 bit or today the rate was even almost 24, so if you change for example 100 euro, you got 2300 Bit. That seems like a lot of money.
Father Boniface is really nice, also the other Fathers here.
I got my own room here and shower and toilet, I am happy about that.
So, first impressions, but I have to say that I don't know how often I can write something in here because there is no Internet in Dhadim, but we have to go to town or school or what ever that is to get internet and thats halv an hour by car.
But I hope to write soon (=
