Well, Molly's visit was a success! We spent the first couple days here in Buenos Aires shopping and seeing the sights. From here we went north to another city called Cordoba. It was a big city and we were looking for camping so we headed west into the mountains to a small town called La Cumbrecita. The town was a beautiful tiny mountain town with lots of trails for hiking all around it, but we didn't get to use any of them because it rained the whole time we were there! Lucky for us, our camp spot came equipt with a small sheltered area to hang out in, and some really cool Argentine travelers. We spent our two days there telling stories, playing music, singing, and drinking mate (a bitter tea that everyone drinks here). When we left there we went to a small German village called Villa General Belgrano and stayed in a hotel so we could get all our wet stuff dry. We treated ourselves to a steak dinner that night and then went back to the room, because the next morning we got up early to start making our way to Iguazu Falls (the falls in this photo). In Iguazu we met up with Cailin and her sister. We spent our first day walking around the town and then the second day headed to the National Park to see the most spectacular falls any of us have ever seen. We hiked around the park for the day and then got back to town and passed out! We were exhausted. The next day Cailin and her sister left in the middle of the day and Scott, Mo, and I wandered around town to an overlook where you can see Brazil and Paraguay across 2 different rivers. That night we got on a bus back here, to Buenos Aires. Our first day back here we did some shopping and cooked a good dinner at the hostel. Yesterday we went to the city zoo and today we are going to hit up a few markets before we get Mo to the airport for her flight out tonight. Its been great. We all feel really fortunate to have had this opportunity to travel together. After taking Mo to the airport, Scott and I will get on a bus to the very north of Argentina, a town called Jujuy, and from there make our way to Bolivia. I hope you all our well!
