Zzzzzzzz, I am shattered!

Yesterday (or whenever it was, I lose track) was a busy day. We popped out for food, and then walked to the bus stop for the airport. In god knows how much heat, it was hot, sweaty, tiring and further than we remembered. We couldn't get on the first bus, as it was too busy but we made it on the next one, checked in, dumped our bags and proceeded onto our rubbish Jetstar flight. There were no films, minimal legroom and just generally rubbish compared to the Qantas one to Bangkok. It was overnight but hard to sleep because we had a disturbing 3 hour stop-over in Darwin. I managed to grab a bit of sleep. We arrived to a boiling hot Cairns, managed to get a shuttle bus and headed to our hostels. Mine isn't as nice compared to the Hangout in Singapore but it does the trick.

I met up with Emma a bit later, as they'd been able to check in, whereas I had to wait till 2pm. I went to the travel agents who was really helpful in recommending where to go and for how long for my trip down the coast. I've also now booked a diving trip to the Great Barrier Reef tomorrow, starting at 7.30am. It's a introductory dive so hopefully they'll be nice to me and there'll be some snorkelling too. I'm really looking forward to it, I just hope I survive the early start. Then the day after, I have another early start to go to Cape Tribulation and various other exciting bits and pieces, including crocodiles etc.

The following day, I have my 7am bus to Magnetic Island, so it's all go but all very exciting. I'm going to grab some food and get an early night tonight before 3 tiring days. Hence, my trip to the Internet cafe tonight :) Hope all is well with everyone. Unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy pancakes for pancake day but hope you all scoffed some.
