An early start for York Middle School, we are on a bus for two hours to our next stop. With a breakfast stop at Denny's (I know, how American) we were energized and ready to go. A two hour bus ride might seem intimidating after a nine hour flight, but our tour guide Jimmy kept us entertained, not to mention the beautiful scenery. To start the adventure off, we went for a crocodile tour, which was really quite interesting. One HUGE crocodile swam right next to our boat, it was literally like 12 feet long. Also, the lunch was amazing! It was rice and beans (which practically came with every meal) mixed with chicken. I remember how sweltering that day was. Trust me, many of us left with way too many sunburns. Our first hotel, in my opinion, was my favorite. It was like a canopy, surrounded by shops and stores comprised of bargaining. I remember playing truth or dare and at night, our friend Lily of course was telling scary stories so we tried to push a bed through into the our room. Tayla wore my sweatshirt, pink elites, and brought her own Power Puff pillow cover and sheets to protect herself from the "bed bugs." Five people in three beds. We made it work. I could already tell this week would be one I would never forget. Day 2 was a success.
