Today, our group is traveling about 9 hours to San José, Costa Rica... not directly, though, of course. We stopped in two states before we actually arrived in Costa Rica, both of which we were running to make our next flight. When we arrived, we instantly shed layers and couldn't help but smile at the friendly atmosphere and the fact that we have been waiting so long for this trip and we're finally here. Exhausted from our travel, we stayed overnight in San José. I'll be honest... the hotel was a little sketchy. The view from our window was of a house with a tall barbed wire fence. All of that aside, I was looking forward to having an adventure with my friends!
