After a rest day at Geoff's watch icing more trashy UK shows, I felt rested and ready for a delightful day in London. Geoff and I left early and drove to coopers house who lives close to the city. After 2 years I caught up with Johnny and his bother! It was so wonderful to see them looking smart in their best cricket attire. We made our way to Lords and I left them to venture into London to do the remaining things I had not achieved on the last brief trip in London. I headed straight to the portobello markets and brought some boots, only £5! I found the place where they filmed the movie notting hill, however Hugh Grant was no where to be seen!
Johnny had suggested to visit Harrods, so I walked there and did not do any shopping as there boots were a little more expensive than £5! Elise suggested that I visit Chelsea as it is TV show she is obsessed with at the moment. I went to bluebirds and had a coffee, after that I continued to walk back to Lords. I think I walked about 10 miles today. Another difference I have observed, the English drive on he left side of the road however do not observe the metric system. At the moment my bearings are off, I'm still looking the other way to cross the road as they are on the right side in Europe.
Caught up with the lads and we then went to a pub where I met my old friend Steve of whom I had not seen in 5 years, it was so wonderful to talk to someone from home! I then Met up with Rich, so we were all reunited " here for he cricket!?" classic night spent dancing in convent garden.
Today I woke and boarded a train to Bristol.
