Today I managed to sleep until 10 which was nice. I had a banana and croissant for breaky and got some cough medicine which was delicious(sarcasm). Then headed to the train station and said goodbye to my new American friends.
Was in the line for the ticket machine and the french guy in front of me took literally 30 seconds (it took me like 5 minutes yesterday after it timed out on me TWICE so embarrassing (There is no English option how ridiculous!) so I asked him to do mine and 30 seconds later it was done. Perfect.
The train to Cannes was not as picturesque as the one to Monaco but certainly still a lot of yachts!
I forgot to mention that yesterday we walking home from dinner and a man was walking his ferret on a lead haha! It was very bizarre but so cute and loveable. Made me miss my chai pie although I'm sure he is still oblivious that I have even left haha. I put some photos in my Nice album of the ferret.
I love love loved Cannes. It is magical. The women here in particular make me want to dress so feminine! I walked down a very long and very beautiful shopping street. Resisted (just) buying a missoni iPad case. I did get a caramel macaroon (the most popular) from a quaint patisserie and then another but this time creme brûlée from a very boutique macaroon store. Both amazing!
I even saw my first French fight. There was a bit of a traffic jam and one of the guys started screaming and jumped out of the car. Hilarious. On par with crazy Italians.
Wandered along the harbour admiring the yachts I aim to own and found an amazing burger cafe so I sat and ate whilst trying to work out where the Picasso exhibition was. I asked my waiter (gorgeous French man) and he had no idea haha. But got out his iPhone and looked it up for me.
The exhibition was very small- only 3 rooms. But wonderful. Lots of photos of him with his work, and one large beautiful piece of Cannes that was stunning.
The dog of choice on the French riviera is most definitely the Schnitty. I have seen so many of them. I met one named Henry (pronounced more like 'onwie'). I am beginning to realise I have a type. Long skinny animals. Chai, the ferret, schnittys. Imagine if I get to pet sit a ferret in London?!

Melly OMG! You and Wes, the only two ppl on earth weird enough to love ferrets (exculding those ultra weirdos who actually own one! LOL).
