So I left my friend Tim in Brisbane, stayed there for about 6 days in the end, at his Bro's house, and ended up in Byron Bay... Hoping to see him again in Melbourne which will be grand!

Here in Byron, there are so many lovely shops - AND I CAN'T BUY ANYTHING! - Funds are running extremely low, so From here on in I am on a big job hunt. If I can work with horses again, that would be great, so I am trying that first before I reach Sydney.

I went to a little town called Nimbin yesterday ( You may have heard of it? ) I went on a tour which was part of the package I made up with the travel agent in Cairns. The town of Nimbin is known for it's weed and the fact that it is extremely easy to buy there. The town isn't very big at all, it's quite 'hippy-like', or 'Bogan' as they say over here, strange little place, but pretty cool! I bought a couple of the famous cookies, but after a big build up of safety talks asking you to take it easy, I was extra careful, and they had little affect at all, if any. Think I was had!!! lol None the less, it was a very good trip. We went to the Nimbin markets which were really cool! Really colourful!

Tonight I leave for Sydney, a 13 hour bus journey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was going to break it up a bit and visit friends in Coffs Harbour, Sharma and Ronnie, (friends from Cape Trib) but I didn't manage to sort it out in time :-( It's probably best I get to Sydney sooner rather than later anyway... we may try to meet up in Sydney - fingers crossed!

On arrival I am meeting a friend I used to work with in Cairns, Gabriella, I will stay with her for one night, and then will be staying at her friends apartment for a week, whilst she is on holiday, so I don't need to worry about accomodation for a week, this is excellent as it means I can fully focus on getting a job. I just hope I can get one, not the best of times to be hitting Sydney!
