We have arrived safely in singapore about 2 hrs ago, after a knightmare. We left Vang Vieng to go to Vientiane (capital of Laos) to go to the airport and try our luck at gettin a flight to singapore as our time was running out before heading to OZ on the 17th.

We managed to get a flight which cost an arm and a leg, Well in fact in consisted of 2 flights. We flew from Vientiane which they very nearly didnt let us on as we didnt have the immigration stamp we were supposed 2 have from the border. So the tickers were going and we pleaded with them 2 let us on and thankfully we worked our charm!! Excuse my language but we were f***ing scared!!!! So on to Bangkok and waited 8hrs in the airport which was a joy. Then from there to singapore.

We have found a good hostel. It is soooo bloody expensive here though and not really within a backpackers budget but we only have 2 nights until we fly to Cairns!! WOO HOO!!
