Hi, it's Jon - met in Laos. Hope the travels went well. Korea is a blast, although the kim-chi (fermented cabbage) is getting to me a bit. Already spent five months here in Incheon. Met loads of crazy b******s and hardcore travellers. Looking to go to India in May 2006 - any advice welcome. The phots are awesome by the way.

Hi Lewis! We met in Mysore - your book-trading friend! I am back in London and currently packing to move back to Houston - very bitter sweet. I am in London until the end of October and would love to hook up if you are in London before I leave. Email me or call my mobile: 07904 551 862. Can't wait to hear the update on the rest of your trip. I will live vicariously. Big hug and best wishes your way.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!
Ok I'm a day late but I didn't forget...I wonder why?
I'm bloody 40 today.Actually it feels really good as I have achieved almost everything I could wish to by my 40th.
Did I tell you we got married. We didn't tell any one then announced it at our joint 40th 6 weeks ago .What a giggle to see all the shocked faces.I don't think my friends thought I would do it and David's friends where so gutted that they wheren't gonna get a chance to torcher him at a stag do.
I've got 6 weeks to go till Junior arrives and feeling rather ungainly now although I plan to have a tan,my lashes tinted and a manicure and pedicure before I go into labour so that david can stay up the "pretty" end without getting too scarred.;-)
So life is pretty good for me even though Chiswick has been almost shut down today for a security alert. No trains running through my back garden so nice and quiet. It's all a bit unusual here in London. Not scarry but almost like every one is looking out for one another on one hand but unfortunately there have been a few racist incidents with people being ultra suspicious of any one with the slightest asian appearance. i hope that it all calms down quickly.
I've not read your postings so just about to do that.Hope you are well and happy.
Big Hug

Greetings old chap. Just returned from Morocco, six weeks in Oouazazate was quite enough for me. Twelve hour days and six day weeks and no shade. I was on second unit so it was alot of humping gear to inhospitable places. I'm back on another job but Del, lucky boy, has gone out there for three weeks. It was forty seven degrees when I left! I did manage to put a few ghosts to rest out there though, if you remember my last outing to Morocco seven years ago. Next plan is to put the flat on the market and move to Bath or in a nearby village. You haven't missed much work wise in fact you couldn't have picked a more perfect time to travel. That's all for now I've got to go and look for pennies under my sofa cushions so I can buy lunch. Take care.

Yes- pictures of you is a must! I think there have been quite a few requests for this already........just do it. They dont have to be glamorous or exotic or considered for any male modelling awards...........just you on your travels! If you are that worried then wear a baseball cap- my favourite hiding tool for lack of being photogenic- PAINLESS.
Lookin forward to them then! As i am sure everyone else is but has given up requesting :o C'mon- lets see yer face of an angel!

Hi Lew. Just caught up with everything on your site after a long absence. Sorry. Thanks for all the text messages i got them all and they were much appreciated. Sounds like you are becoming a real traveller with the smells and cultures seeping into your soul. It was interessting to read about your night train. Louise and i have been off on our own travels (only Europe) and we took the night train from Nice to Naples. I f***ing hated it, Louise quite liked it. There are travellers and there are not and i am NOT one of them. I said to Louise "if she wanted to go off and do that Lewis thing, she was with the wrong bloke". We had a great time though, caught a wedding in Nice, a wedding in Amalfi, and the Monacco Grand Prix. Then back home where i belong!
Don't worry about smelling like a china man, a week of cornflakes, PG Tips, and Somerfield bread and humous will sort that out.
Things are changing fast around here! Don't be gone for ever but continue to live it all and enjoy. x
