Hey Lew, just back from seeing Big Bad Bob off.
Oh so sad. Kind lass helped out with tissues.
Must have been nearly 150 people there.
Jacob and Dave Broder kept it all running along.
Sent your love.

Siân Aka Sick Girl In Luang Prabang
Hey Lewis. Stumbled across your website address today and thought I'd check it out - wow! Amazing photos! Any chance I could nick a couple and pass them off as mine when I get home?! Was really jealous of the train journey through Vietnam - my favourite way to travel and the bit I had to cut out of my tight schedule :( Ah well, maybe next time... I'm currently in Cambodia, which is an amazing country. A dark and turmoiled past but they always have a smile and a 'hello!' for you everywhere you go.
Well, good luck with the rest of your travels. You can check out my site at www.lonelyplanet.mytripjournal.com/siansadventure if you've ever stuck for something to do. The pictures are embarrasingly poor compared to yours but you might spot one of yourself in there somewhere! And I think I referred to you as a 'nice Scottish bloke' in my Luang Prabang story...
Take it easy, Siân xx

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAGGHHH!!!!!!! 'Hot under the collar'.....i can only imagine! V funny. Thanks for cheering up my dehydrated Sunday afternoon with a hangover- it took me several minutes to notice that....things are very out of focus today...Poor you. I really hope its not that bad...but then again, i do remember you crumbling and loosing the rag ever so slightly with some natives here...after several days. Welcome to my world. With sympathy, yours sincerely LCD and still craving some 'normality'. x

hey there lewis, hows tricks? the financial motive certainly wares a bit thin after a while, almost as crafty as those thai taxi drivers. i am still having issues with my yahoo email not being able to reply or compose, something to do with my firewall, bla, bla, bla.. i have now firmly settled back in to the usual humdrum, work, working-out and home work, and the usual friday night end of the week debauchery!! its great but hard looking at your website as it makes me incredibly envious having only been there myself not so long ago. i hope you are well and i am certain you are having a fabulous time, looking forward to more snaps and travel tales. justine xx

Hey! Thought i'd drop you a line on here for a change..must be fun guessing who has bothered to leave a message:) That airplane journey sounds horrendous.....i would have legged it out of there in a sec:o Tell me about the traffic in these places...what is that all about??? I had the same problem the other day carrying laptop/another bag, rucksack in not so 'flat' work shoes...in 30 degrees....i really thought i was going to strangle a taxi driver. Not such a great idea here i imagine..... I notice you are neither 'Lewis burnt under the sun' anymore...or indeed 'Lewis chilled under the sun'.... Now its just 'UNDER THE SUN'. Is that a mistake? Perhaps you accidentally deleted something...sounds very dramatic! Its amazing to think you have been travelling all this time already..half way thru your planned length of time approx? Time must definately fly when you're having a bit of fun:) Anyway, speaking of flying i must fly to bed. Big day tomorrow baking a cake with the assistance of Aurora Pakora...if she lets me actually DO ANYTHING. Its for Ali. Long story not for a message board- yawn. Anyway, takecare of yourself L and speak to ya soon xxxx

Hi Hon
Whatching TV as more news of disasters in Asia come through so I had to check you weren't in the areas affected.
Asia is my favorite continent and it is heart breaking to see the suffering that is continuing there.
But it looks like you are out of harms way and in the most magical place. Will you be going to Vietnam? The markets have the most amazing sights and smells not always good!Judging by your photo gallery you have probably had that experience already.
Every thing in my life is great I am now almost 20 weeks pregnant ( half way through)and getting fatter by the day.I wasn't going to tell you I was going to just answer the door when you get back holding my child, but I can't keep it secret for that long as I would have nothing to write.
So I'm taking it easy work wise as I will be a geriatric mother ( well I'm classed as a "mature " mother) b******s!
Had 12 weeks scan and Junior wouldn't keep still for a second so clearly Davids child.....oh no I hope it doesn't have the same vocal capacity........!20 week scan coming up.They can see if there are any problems or defects so slightly nerve racking but I'm sure all will be fine.
Keep the photo's coming .Some of you please.... forgot what you look like.
Big Kiss
