The day has arrived, we fly to Sydney, and it's no effort to hide our excitement as we have being awake all night due to Char having shooting pains in her head. At 5a.m, we began googling, sometimes not the best idea as the majority of the time death is imminent. The conclusion was that it may be a Ice Pick headache or a trapped nerve.
To board the sky train we had to get a short tuk tuk and the whole journey only cost 290 baht. This was a bargain compared to our expensive taxi upon arrival the first time. Everything went smoothly until the news that was delivered to us on the check in desk. We are not booked onto the flight as STA Travel had not updated the dates of the tickets. Not a huge problem as we would only have to return to Bangkok centre, however, a quick phone call to England rectified the issue within half an hour.
In the departure lounge Char started feeling worse which raised a dilemma. Do we get to Oz or head to the hospital in Bangkok? A cool patch on the head and we boarded the flight in order to get to a more developed country to go to hospital. The flight was empty and we fortunately had four seats to ourselves, just what Char needed. She spent the whole flight horizontal, it was the closest thing to first class we reckon we will ever get.
