Today we flagged down a taxi and went to White Sands (we paid 100thb each - this is good value for the distance we went but what we did find out is that you pay 100thb for wherever you go on the island which wont work out well to the next beach!!)

We had a wander around the shops but it was all 'Same Same....but different' as the Thai's would say. We were looking for hats, a guitar shop and mosquito protective clothings - we bought none!! Instead we ended up on a shell collecting mission on the beach - Char was reliving her youth and with Mum Debs at home, Matt stepped in and made a good wingman. We actually found ourselves trying to get ahead of the other collectors to try and find the best ones!! The competition was obvious as the other competitors kept racing ahead! In the end we were satisfied with the haul.

We had a chocolate and a watermelon shake to recover and then chocolate pancakes for lunch (We will not be starving over here haha!!)

The pool then seemed a good option for a few lengths and our own aqua aerobics under Char's lead. How we amuse ourselves!! (We need to do something to avoid rice and pancake bellies!) This quickly turned into a 'Who can swim for the longest underwater' No guesses for who won!! It was taken very seriously!!

For tea we found a great place - Sunshine Bungalows (We think this could turn into our local!) Spring rolls, Thai Red Curry and a drink for 145thb = 3 pounds! and it was delicious! This induced us both into a food coma which would last until the following morning!
