After a night in a the Mushroom Bar it was key that we got up and got out for the day. We got a boat to the nearby Railay beach. A beach we were told by an Australian girl that is the most beautiful beach she has ever been on. We are not sure about that, but just round the corner was Phra Nang beach. This is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches ever, it just a shame about the vast number of tourists here. The beach is lined with limestone cliffs which hang over the beach and are speckled with rock climbers. You know something's is fascinating when you are turned away from some of the most beautiful scenery in the world to watch the human monkeys climbing. A little off shore, once you had swam through the shallows you could reach Phra Nang Caves, where hidden from the public you could test out your own less than amateur climbing skills.
Once back on the beach, a particular family ruined the whole scene and showed exactly why such places are becoming ruined. In full view of everyone, they allowed their child to go to the toilet in a bottle. They then discarded said bottle plus all the waste from their lunch and left. Unfortunately we live in a world where they didn't even think this was wrong.
The rain came in the evening and after some discussions earlier in the week about James Bond, (as there is James Bond island close by) we found out that one of the bars was showing 'Skyfall'. We decided that this was the time, with Rich and Jenny super fans that we should see what all the fuss is about. The bar was already full and after being moved to a table too far from the TV we decided that tonight was not the night. We retired to Sunset Bar for jenga and V69. As if the torrential rain and failed movie were not enough, a cat decided to urinate on Matt. To say he wasn't impressed is a major understatement. The smell was horrendous.
Sleep was the only way to stop all the negative events from occurring....until the roof in our bungalow started leaking.
