Billies alarm went off at 4.30am this morning. So annoying because then I couldn't go back to sleep properly. We got up at 8.30am or so anyway and went to our free breakfast. Then we walked up to the train station as we had decided to go to Madame Tussauds wax museum. We got to Baker St Stn and like retards tried to get through the gate and pay for our trip with our rm keys not our oyster cards. So dumb, no idea how we both did it and the man we asked about it looked at us like we were so retarded. We got out anyway and noticed how busy it was already. But had walked past a lady giving out pamphlets for bus tours that said they also sell tickets for places like Madame Tussauds, but cheaper and you get to jump the queue. We decided to think about that while we went to set up our HSBC bank accounts. The man was pretty funny there. He said high five instead of hello then when he asked if I was married or had kids and I said no he asked if I was sure... Among other things.. Then when we left he said to say hi to Justin Beiber for him because we had told him we were going to the wax museum. Then we went to go to an Internet cafe to find out about my appointments for jobs tomorrow. On the way we saw a ticket booth so I went to ask the man about the discounted tickets which Jess got for 3 things over here. He was funny too and asked me if she got them from someone very attractive because it was probably him. Anyway we got tickets for the London Eye, the London Dungeon and the London Tower from him as well as tickets for one of the double decker bus companies. We then got the train to the London Eye and got on it. There was no line up so that was great - usually it takes up to 2 hrs we were told. It was hot in the booth but we got great views from so high because it was bright and sunny not overcast. We got down and went to the '4D experience' which was a short film about London central that came free with our London Eye ticket. It was cool and with the glasses on they had birds flying from the back right next to your head. It was pretty awesome. Next we walked up the road to take some pictures and saw a heap of funny random buskers doing different things. We went the other way to get closer to the Big Ben and Parliament houses and walked across the bridge and down the road. We wandered around a bit and found Westminster Abby and went inside. Weren't allowed cameras which was crap although I'd gotten a million pics already. It was a gorgeous place. So high and beautiful carvings. There were hundreds of tombs and things under the ground and above. Looked like it was from a movie set. It was hard to believe there was so many famous or royal people buried right there. It was pretty cool that they had the grave of the unknown solider for all the men who didn't come back from war. It took us a while to get around it all and we decided to head home. Got back with sore shoulders again and had dinner and wrote postcards and then went to bed.
