Nearing the end but alot still to update!
We're now in Bangkok reflecting tiringly on the Koh Phangan experience and the 15hours travelling we have just endured! A mixture of Full Moon Party... many buckets, 3 hours sleep, 5hr ferry ride followed by a 10hr bus journey back to Bangkok, and then an hours searching for a hostel! In the end we found a nice hostel called 'Thai Cosy' with tv, a/c, and fridge willing to pay the 6pounds of her majesty's legal tender for such luxurys, also we have a hot shower which has been a rarity as of late!
Ben and Westy arrived and the laddish banter started, we hit the sauce as soon as we welcomed us into the Hua Laem residence! Tom and Tik were fine with the young juveniles stayin that were ben and westy. We hit the bevski's and headed once again to the ever vibrant Haad Rin Beach! As usual we got split up and in an intoxicating stupor found each other with much drunken embraces and happy that we've found each other becz bein by yourself for too long leaves you feeling vulnerable to hookers and ladys boys!
Me and Westy continued our long wlk bak to hua laem to be then confronted by some cretinous english couple who decided to slap westy for tryin to tlk french to other random street stragglers takin the moral high ground i stood back and didnt want to be involved in such violent acts! We the truth is i was struggling to stand up let alone try stick up for Westy which would have probly made the situation worse, in the morning i did feel like i should have done something... hindsight is such a beautiful thing.
We had a few nights off due to sicknesses within the camp and we didnt want to deter any chance of attending the Full Moon! So it was jus sleeping eating and lazin for the next few days!!
We headed to the Chill House for our pre drinks before the Full Moon Party, sunk and few Singha's then Westy had to go bak to the room to make himself sick as he was still feeling a bit sick, so i told him the best way was to just stick his tootbrush down his throat and let the chunder do the rest! Unfortunatly he had to sick in the sink cz Euge had blocked the fecking toilet!!!
Westy was refreshed tho and we headed down to the beach for some partying, me and eige gt split from the group almost instantly because of the volume of people!! But we found the drum and bass party after many failed attempts in asking other drunken juveniles. We partyed away but euge needed to go bak to the room, so i waited..and waited! But Euge was a lost cause! I was on my own!! Wanting to look inconspicuous because i was now a loner, decided to join a group of people dancing on a table! It was a struggle due to the beers making me unbalanced but i gt helped up and i partied on. Westy then appeared from the shadows closly followed by Luke.. good to see familiar faces at last! Almost straight away Lukey was lost in the crowd westy and me took it upon ourselves to hold up the groups integrity and partied hard till the sun rose and we attempted to party through the dawn and onto the afternoon but soon reality hit us and we had to leave for our mammoth journey to Bangkok in just a few hours, we walked back, covered in paint! Shaking of hookers and even more lady boys that tried to offer us a 'good time' we stopped for a chicken sandwich which was instantly regretted, it didnt touch the beautys of KFC when you've finished a night out!! But we made our way back got back to Hua Laem for about 6.45am, i took a shower and the next thing i remember was an exclamation of worry from Luke Bennett at 10.30am telling us we need to check out in half an hour, thankfully we Tom was ok with us being a little bit late for check out he realised from the looks on our faces we had, had a tough night!
So the journey began back to Bangkok, with a 5hr ferry journey then hopped on the VIP bus ready for the hardest leg of the journey, we stopped off at a remote station to wlk about grab food and drink for the remaining hours left on the bus!
Arriving in Bangkok at 4.30am this morning, the humidity and city smells hit us, 4hrs sleeps in 2 nights and now the prospect of maybe not even finding a hostel for the rest of the night did not excite me in the slightest, but me and euge left luke ben and westy with our bags and we searched, and didnt find anywher for a long time! Finally we came to the 'Thai Cozy' found rooms available it maybe a couple of hundred baht more than other places but wiv a/c, fridge, satellite tv annd the luxury of a hot shower its worth it!!
We have 3 days left of our Thailand adventure and its has been awesome, but still 4 months to go... Bring on Australia!
Hope everyone is well and good in the UK and living it up, for those at uni school and work... keep partying! x
