Hello all,

Just thought I would upload some pictures and leave a little journal entry whilst Gemma is at WORK!!!! I know, its a shame but we have to do it.

We had a little blip over the weekend when we were really fed up, hungover, tired and it was raining and all we wanted to do was come home but I think things are better this morning.

Gemma went off to work fairly happy, even though she is only an office junior doing the photocopying and mundane stuff like that and then it was my job to find a flat... I successfully completed this task! It was a place we had seen at the weekend, a small studio but nicely broken up so it feels bigger, plus it is in the area in Sydney we wanted to live, Darlinghurst. We could have moved out to Bondi or Manly by the beach but its full of backpackers there and we wanted the city living lifestyle. Lets face it, we're never going to afford to live in a city back home so why not do it now! We move in on Friday and our address will be; 8/251 Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst, Sydney, 2010 should anyone want to send us a house warming.....

Unfortunately I haven't yet found work. I spoke to both the recruitment agencies today and they say that my CV is having success every where they send but most firms want me on a 4 year sponsorship deal! Its not really what we're after right now but you never know. If there is a construction crash in the UK it might come in handy.

Apart from this we haven't really done much. Not been to the beach, not been out, not been to see anything. The days have been so hectic that come the evening we want our fast food dinner (the kitchen at our hostel is tiny and always rammed) and then bed.

But things are moving on, we have a house and Gemma a job. 2 out 3 done. 1 to go!
