Bula!

As you can tell we are in Sydney! and have spent the last 48 hours in a 10 bed dorm (eeek!) looking for work and a flat! It is Sunday evening and we should start hearing about job interviews tommorrow and if we get the flat we want tonite!!! (fingers crossed please!)But all that is boring! God knows what we are going to fill the blog with when we have to work again!!!

So, more interesting stuff, we have been to Fiji! we spent 11 nights there and it was lovely! We flew in to Nadi and despite the milatary coup we were fine, didnt see anything. We spent 2 nights in Nadi and to our surprise ended up in a villa! we were not aware we book it but as it was so cheap we werent going to argue, esp as it had air con!! We managed to make friends with a man and his wife and he was in charge of the security for Prince Harry and William in Sandhurst. We tried, but failed to get any juicy gossip out of him, apart from they are like any other lads and come home pissed!

The following day we managed a local bus and went to Fiji Beach House. We knew that it had something to do with the celeb Love Island but we didnt realise that we would actually be on the set! It was so strange! For those of you that watched the last one, the pool, kitchen and lounging bits were all the bits we used! The really wierd bit that there were loads of one way mirrors everywhere so we felt asthough we were on Big Brother! plus we were walking through the camera runs to get to other places on the resort. Very strange!!!

On the whole it was a beautiful place but the weather was a little tempremental with loads of massive thunder storms and heavy down pours! this had its good points though as at night we could sit on the beach and watch the lightening over the sea, stunning! and it meant that people had to take cover, (the same under cover bit with tables and benches as on CLI!!), and we made loads of friends and had a good crack. This, however, did mean we drank quite a lot, esp as it was all on tab! this was very dangerous and we are paying now.

All in all we had a fantastic time and I have even managed to get a tan, although Leigh is very brown so he is winning! We have now come back to reality and need to get a job! So early nights for us, after just one more beer in our new local! (purely medicinal when sleeping in a 10 bed dorm!!)

We hope every one is good back home, we saw in the news that there has been a lot of snow? anyone go sledging? any snow ball fights? and did Indianna like her first snow? (although not entirely sure if it snowed in Brighton/Hove?)
