Just to update you further - Went to Great Wall - fantastic - walked 2km of it, got a cable car up to the wall and then had a toboggan ride back down, really hot and clear day

Rowing - Trudy really enjoyed seeing the best rower every win his gold in the aussie pair boat - mr. Ginn - he look great - showed what good technique can do for you, then we saw the brute force of the GB four - whoa 2 total different styles which produced the same result.

Then to see that fantastic quad race -with girls so disappointed - to win a silver ! showed all the emotions of what winning an olympic medal means especially as the double had done so well before hand and then seeing mark hunter being sick after he finished - what an atmosphere - worth holiday money on its own

Then we followed that up with that amazing mens 100m race to be there for that topped everything off.

We chilled abit for last few days in beijing - went to the zoo - Panda's were tops, (Liam brought the best umbrella every - a Panda one) so active almost like monkeys and the palaces, etc were amazing. our final trip was Beijing amusment park which was good fun and topped off the trip nicely.

This is the most friendly city I have every visited - don't know if it is because of the games, but chinese are great - very open, friendly, hospitable. and to be with so many nationalities all getting along really makes the Olympic ideal complete - this has been the best!

Japan is so different to beijing, really feels like a different country, been out running along river bank - feels very safe here and this is the best hotel I have every stayed in.

Owen and Liam are in there robes in the room relaxing.

Owen so pleased with his grades - especially his a* in chinese and was suprised by his grades in A levels - BBC - well done

We seem to be getting on OK all of us, despite sharing a room together and being with each other 24/7.
