Day 1

Excellent flight from Munich 7.5hrs arrived 45 mins ahead of schedule, everything 1st class - airport/plane/food

Taxi at airport picked us up OK and checked into our hotel by 12.30 - very efficient

went for a subway trip into centre of city, looked around the shops - rained this afternoon, had a chinese meal - i had green tea and egg fried rice, boys had spicy beef and lamb

everything great - people really friendly and everything geared up for us language wise, Owen has been great discussing things, asking directions and advice

Liam is currently asleep with own on face book downstairs, visiting sq 2morrow and athletics in pm
