Our first stop after Buenos Aires was Uruguay´s Montevideo. We took a 1 hour boat trip over to Colonia in Uruguay and then a 2.5 hour bus ride down to Montevideo. The trip wasn´t too bad all in all. Wahoo Colonia is beautiful - full of pretty little houses and shops. It´s got a lovely little coastal feel to it, very quaint and a little bit rustic. Much more what we were hoping we´d find on our travels. Something different. Cities are great but it´s always brilliant to find a little place hiding away from the world. We walked around the old remains, along the coast and climbed up the light house to discover that Colonia is much prettier from the ground! P...
