Well that's me two weeks in to volunteering and I've done things I never thought I would! Scratching a gibbons back, hand feeding macaques, giraffe, zebra and of course the cubs! Also took a leopard for a walk this morning! As you do on a Sunday! Its a lot of hard work but the animals are so worth it!
Outwith work we've been to see big Buddha in near by Bo Phloi, gone and chilled out at the nearby lake and had a night in Kanchanaburi. I got to go back to Erawan again too which I'm so happy I did! Just love that place! Even when its busy you can still find a wee spot hidden away and just completely relax. The local markets are amazing too! It's like a mix between a car boot sale and a farmers market! Just brilliant!
I've got myself a set of wheels now too! Lovely wee red and black scooter! Took a wee minute to get into it but Jade helped me (when she wasn't laughing at my horrendous driving) and I'm a lot more confident now!
This coming week should b interesting! A few people going on visa runs which means I'm being left to team lead cubs a couple of times this week! Aaaargh! Hopefully everything will go OK!
