Waiting to board yet another flight, this time to Lima, where we spend the night before flying to Puerto Maldonado and the Amazon Basin.

Our flight was supposed to be 9:25 but when we arrived at the airport after a 6:15 hotel pickup, we find out the flight had been moved to 10:25. Thank you flight centre and LAN for taking the time to inform us of this change. We could have used ore sleep an would have preferred NOT to spend 3 hours at Quito airport.

Also, I have a cold, brought on by aeroplane air, I could feel it as it happened. Bird flu masks from now on.
