Well after returning from the Okavango delta which I was very sad to leave I decided that I would quite like to see it from an arial point of view ie from a light aircraft. Activities are so cheap out here it is amazing. So after hanging around the campsite for a while we headed into Maun where we met our rather nice aircraft pilot Chris. I got front seat which was absolutley brilliant although i was quite concerned that my foot might get squashed!!!!
We took off now considering I get a little nervous in the old 747's this aircraft didnt bother me in the slightest i think it must be a knowing thing, i was sat right next to the pilot and he was ok so everything was sweet.
It was a brilliant flight we saw a massive herd of elephants and the pilot was pulling all these funny stunts it was great fun. Some of his friends were at the river and he flewe the plane so low that he could have decapitated them and I know that I can be melodramatic at times but beleive me on this occasion i am not!!!.
One persn felt a little sick but apart from that everything was good. After the flight we headed back to camp for aour last night at sitatunga. I have really enjoyed my time here and will be sad to leave it. But I am of course very excited to be moving onto Namibia!!!
