Today marked the show I've been working on for the past little while with the rest of the "Kasayahan of performing arts foundation" team. This talent show case happens every year (this being the 15th year), in celebrating Filipino culture and tradition. I had the opportunity to sing and perform with a bunch of other local talents for the 114th national independence day of the Philippines. The festival like event was held at the pacific place mall with lots of spectators and shoppers! The talent showcase was held in the food court area with a big stage and a very hollow and reverberant space. We had some little cousins over and decided to play with them in the backyard. Assembled the play hut and just "chilled" under the sun! There was absolutely no wind and a pretty calming environment overall. Some chirping of the birds and the loud zooming cars passing by. The little cousins were even pretty quiet themselves! Only a big rustle when the youngest cousin crawled through the tunnel!

I had the opportunity to watch my little cousin play some basketball. Inside the court, the sound of people chatting and the kids running around were the constant sounds of the environment. The bouncing of the ball, the clock buzzing, parent screaming and cheering and the physical contact of the players were the sounds that caught attention.
