It's Monday afternoon and had just finished class. I have some time before teaching so I stopped by for coffee. It's fairly quiet in here today with some soft jazz music in the background and a low hum of people casually talking. These are some of the keynotes in the coffee shop right now. The espresso machine, blender and the cash register are some sounds that could be classified under sound signals that attract attention. These different sounds make up the sound marks of this place and relatively similar to any other coffee shop. On the whole I enjoyed my drink while typing this up!
