I decided to attend the St. Mary's graduation mass held at St. Mary's cathedral. I had to drive my sister early so I had some time to sit in the pew and just listen to what was around me and have time for prayer. The reverb in the church is incredible. After a nice long walk around prince's island park, it was time to relax at sumo's restaurant for dinner! It was fairly quiet in the restaurant and so we decided to sit on the patio, getting some sun while we eat! The quiet pop music in the background was definitely one of the sound marks of the restaurant. The low murmer of voices and the loud fan of the restaurant makes up the keynotes in the surrounding. Today we took mom out for dinner for mothers day! While waiting for our food I had time to listen around me. Families enjoying each other's company, celebrating the occasion, wine glasses clinking, the loud kitchen, and occasional yelling between the chefs and cooks! Based on my past visits to earls, the environment was a lot louder than what I can remember. Overall it was a great dinner, and a special dinner with mom.
