I decided to attend the St. Mary's graduation mass held at St. Mary's cathedral. I had to drive my sister early so I had some time to sit in the pew and just listen to what was around me and have time for prayer. The reverb in the church is incredible. A small conversation can easily be picked up and someone walking with heels, even in the carpet, was bouncing off the walls. Such a quiet atmosphere but when something echoes through the through, my attention automatically goes to that sound. At times there were people talking to me and everything around me would automatically shut off as well!
