im so in love with this country its crazy.

This morning we arrived at 5am in the pouring rain and tropical heat so an old cobblestone colonial town. Little did we know there there was a jazz and blues festival on this weekend!

The first day of this picturesque beautiful village was spent grabbing a rickety old bus up the jungle mountains to a place called cachaca tobogana. thats right a natural waterfall slide. After plucking up the courage the daunting drop was amazing! The evening proved even more exciting which was enjoying the lively atmosphere of this small town being swamped with an abundance of live jazz music and raspy voices that it seemed only necessary to compliment with a few caprinhas.

The town of paraty is surrounded by 62 islands of absolute paradise.A group of 6 of us jumped on a pink rather pimping boat called rock to rio where a local guide took us rounded these crystal clear azure bath warm waters that seems like something of a dream. not really sure if the pictures will justify the beauty as much.
