Havent updated in agges so i thought i would.. We arrived into sydney at the end of january..steayed in sydney for a good few weeks..tried to find a job but no such luck..so did a few shifts cleaning in our hostel for free accomodation but it was the worst thing i have ever had to do so wont be doing it again anytime soon..

Thgen at the start of feb..we flew doen to Melbourne for 5 days and stayd withour friend sophie, who we met on our 15 day tour of new zealand.. this was ggreat as she drove uys round everywhere seeing the sights and even drove us along a bit of the great ocean road which was really lovely.

A few days ago we flew upto Cairns..which is so humid its unbelievable..its the wet season so its raining a lot.. but thats kind of niceas its a nice way to cool down. So on our first day in Cairns we went out on a boat to snrkle on some of the great barrier reef which was fun, although we got so burnt even though we applied lots of suntan lotion and wore these funny stinger suits..i dont think you can avoid sunburn whilst on a boat!

Yesturday we went white water rafting again..but this time it was about a 6 hour trip..going down the river tully in the middle of the rainforest so the sights were really beautiful..this rafting trip was all about the rapids.. so was very sketchy as before every rough part our guide would tell us "this is a common place to flip the raft" which was worrying but it was so much fun...and by the end of it i was covered in aches and bruises and a very tired arm..but still thought it was worth it..

today we are getting ready to leave for magnetic island..hopefuly to do some kyaking etc..
