Hi everyone!!!

Finally thought we'd write something, sorry for the lame attempt at keeping you up to date! We'll quickly fill you in on everything that we got up to in Thailand and then fingers crossed we'll get some pictures up loaded.

BANGKOK: Pretty crazy city, everyone trying to get you in a tuk tuk. Did lots of touristty stuff like The Tiger Temple (got to sit next to tigers), Floating Markets, Bridge over the River Kwai, Ancient Temples.

CHANG MAI (going a bit north): Nicer than Bangkok, not so touristy, massive night markets and met up with people from Bangkok. Met our 2 Irish girls that we then travelled with for 5 weeks. Did a 3 day trek into the Thai Jungle, fab trip, hard work but totally worth it. Rode on Elephants and went bamboo Rafting. Spent the night getting pissed on Moonshine and singing around camp fires! Wicked trip!

Pai (more north into the mountains now): Cool little hippy town. Rented mopeds to look at all the sights. Got pissed with the locals, nearly missed our bus to Laos! Not alot to do but for some reason we didnt want to leave, great people and atmosphere!!!

LAOS (country east to Thailand): Not in the original plan but everyone kept going on about how good it was so thought we'd pay it a visit! Had to take a 2 day slow boat to get there......an experience to say the least. Did touristy stuff, main thing was in Vang Viene where we went TUBING!!!! Floating down the river in a massive rubber ring, bars on the side pulling you in by big ropes. Lots of high rope swings into the river, some people came off not so great. Lauren and I were pros of course!!!! By the end of the day we were a bit merry to put it mildly, Lauren and Caroline (Irish girl) misplaced there tubes in their drunkun stuper!

Lauren and Laura parted ways for a week, this is when Lauren ended up in hospital! Lol!

Lauren: went to the 4000 islands in Loas, sureal experience, stayed in huts with no electricity (hence the fall down the stairs, falling in an ants nest and getting an infected foot). ended up back in bangkok for longer than expected and then met laura later......

Laura: Did nothing in particular, went shopping in Bangkok and relaxed by the pool! Went to Ko Phan Gan a few days before Lauren and beached it up! The tan finally started to kick in!

KO PHAN GAN: Main reason for being here is for the Full Moon Party, pretty much spent three days getting wasted (Lauren on antibiotics, so if mum's reading this of course I didn't drink a drop!) for 3 nights. Wicked pool party in there somewhere too! A lovely 2 day hangover followed, decided to head to quieter waters.

KOH TAO: Scuba diving all the way!!! We did our 4 day open water diving course. Great fun, lots of cool people and instructors (hehe). Fab night out to celebrate passing! Laura heads to Singapore for her flight to Perth, Lauren stays on to do her Advanced course.

Lauren: decided to stay so i could do my advanced and chill out in the island for a bit as hadn't had chance to chill yet (obviously life had been so stressful so far!) course was fab, did a deep dive and saw a shark!! also did a night dive which was pretty cool. then moved into a beachside bungalow (lush!) for a few days where i sunbathed it up and drank some more.

Laura: I headed across Malaysia down to Singapore, 35 hours on a bus, not fun!!!!! Got to Singapore, slept in the airprt and caught my flight to Perth in the morning! Spent a week in Perth, did a wine tour (wine, cheese and chocolate, FAB!) Did a 4 day tour up the west coast, saw touristy things and got to paddle with Dolphins, AMAZING!!!

We met up in Perth airport for our flight to Melbourne........

So here we are....MELBOURNE! Lots of stuff to do, e.g. NEIGHBOURS SET BABY!!!!!!!! Saw BRIE today in a shop!!!!! You know the young chubby girl! Leaving for Sydney on the 19th, can't believe it's xmas already, doesn't feel like it though as it's baking!!! Hope your loving the British weather! Lol!
