Woke up bright and early for some unknown reason so decided to head to the airport for a quick visit to Franky and benny's - my salmon and scrambled egg bagel hit the spot nicely! Same bus driver as the day before - oh dear!!!!
Killed the next few hours by wandering the shops and devouring a cream egg mcflurry before catching a rather late flight to Agadir (made up some time luckily during the flight).
Arrived in Agadir safe and sound and through security without any major dramas thankfully. Located our driver immediately and began the journey to villa mandala (our home for the next week)!
I don't think il be driving in morocco - I hope the journey was the most dangerous aspect of this part of the trip! Travelling at 80mph in the middle of the road, people crossing in front of us and a rather strange man dressed in black on crutches in the middle of what would be the equivalent of the motorway in the UK (very strange)!
A couple of small villages and a dirt track later I let out a sigh of relief as we approached an absolutely beautiful villa!
Inside we were met by the very friendly yoga instructor - Tara who made us feel right at home! A quick trip to the room where our names were written on the door and we were downstairs meeting our companions for the week and eating our first vegetarian meal! Have to say it was delicious - must try making the bean stew when I get back!
We got to know Steve and Alexa who had shared the adventurous trip from the airport a bit better as the others went to bed! We adequately filled them in on the ways of Guernsey and island life! Everyone seems really lovely and I'm now rather excited for what is ahead of us!
For now I must say goodnight as we have a 2 hour yoga at session at 7.30am so sleep well everyone!
