Hello everyone!

We made it down to Koh Phangan Island all safe and sound. The last few days of my life have been all about partying!! With beach parties, st.patricks day, the half moon party and some more beach parties all occuring in the same week I think it is time for a detox, so later today we are heading to the very north point of the island to Bottle Beach, it is meant to be beautiful and away from the party scene, so my body can happily recover!!

St.Patricks night here was brilliant. There are alot of irish travelling, and we all started joyfully in an the one irsih bar on the island and from there carried on celebrating our heritage on sunrise beach!

Yesterday, we decided to hire a moped for the day (thinking we could hack it) and go driving around the island to see what we could find! There was Rachel on the back, and myself driving...we had two choices, of which way we could go and so we decided to go left out of our hostel...only to find this was a BAD decision! There were hills like you have never seen, and on a moped everything seemed a million times more scary!!! All the local found us hilarious as we drove past, we are still not too sure why, but I am guessing it is because of the expressions on our faces...total fear!!!! We found a beach and chilled out there for a while, knowing the whole time that we were going to have to drive back the way we had just come! Anyway, we did eventually make it home safe to the hostel and live to tell the tale! I only wish we could have seen ourselves...i will not be stepping on any moped again in a hurry!! We also found out on our return that if we had decided to turn right out of the hostel there were flat roads...typical, haha!

The Thai island really are very beautiful. We are going to go to a few others before we head back up to Bangkok for our flight to Australia on the 4th April!! I think Phi Phi Island will be definetly one of them, so many people have told me how stunning it is there, so we still have lots to look forward too! I am havind a great time and have really settled into the travelling way of life now.
