Well this morning I woke up with a tennis ball on my ankle as a result of a bite!

I was alone today and had another trip planned today to Elephanta Island. A little island about 11km from Mumbai. The boat left from the Gateway of India. When I got on the boat, I saw a girl english looking, so I went to sit with her and started to talk to her. Her name was Stephanie and was actually from Washington DC, USA and was in India with her family, her sister Laura, mum and dad. The boat ride was about an hour away. when we got to Elephanta Island, Stephanie and Laura said I could tag along with them. We had a tour guide Sam who told us about elephant island and all the caves. The island were full of Monkeys, which would steel your things if you weren't careful!!

Elephanta Island also called Gharapuir Island or place of caves, is an island full of temple caves ahd elephanta caves which have been carved under the ground, out of rock.

On the boat on the way back, we were told that the boat wouldn't be going back to the Gateway due to the Indian Priminister being there, so we were taken to Princes Dock. That place much have been the worst place I have seen so far in Mumbai. The smell was out of this world!! Sooo bad! And the people there were not clean at all!! I even saw a guy s***ting in the street! To top it off I had to get a taxi back to the Gateway to meet my driver. The taxi ride must have been the worst 20mins of my life! Not only cos of the area we drove through, but that taxi driver let another Indian in the taxi to, who he dropped off before he dropped me off. When to Indian got in the taxi, I was a little scared! The areas we drove though were so unclean and smelly! People were sleeping on the streets and with flys around them! Babies were naked and veru skinny! And the houses were pieces of cardboard! I was so gald when that taxi ride was over!
