So now our week of surfing is over. And it was so much fun! We met awesome new people from Europe, mostly from Sweden. Our days usually started with a good breakfast consisting of toast, scrambled eggs, different kinds of fruit and of course some banana pancakes!
After we finished our breakfast, we took our rash guards and bikinis and jumped in to the mini buses that drove us to the surf school. Our ride there took from 45min to 1h, even though it was only 17 km away! If we had walked from Canggu (one of the beaches near us) it would've been only 6 km to the school. The roads over here are so narrow that two cars barely fit to drive side by side. So if you are planning on coming to Bali, rent a scooter! We prefer to take taxis though, they're cheap and you don't have to get lost or be afraid in the chaotic traffic.
When we got to the school we took our boards and über sexy helmets and went to the beach. Then we had some theory and went to the water and practiced it. Our two hour lessons just flew by in the water. It was so much fun!
After the surfing we usually stayed in Seminyak/Kuta for some lunch and shopping. But some days we just wanted to go back to the house and lay by the pool.
In the evenings we ate dinner at the house, but two nights a week were nights out, so we went out for dinner with the whole camp. Rest of the nights we watched some movies or just chilled in our awesome yard.
