hey everyone.

got here ok after a very long flight - and worst nightmare ever there was turbulance while i was in the loo but i managed not to wee on myself haha. felt the heat and humidity instantly at the airport and we still had our fleece tops and jeans on aaargh. FOund our hostel easy enough and got our rather strange windowless room! so we have no idea what time of day it is or what the weather is like outside but its big enough and has all we need. We DO have hot water too but only discovered this after id showered grrr!

Went for a mooch about and to find somewhere for food ended up in Little India and had a lovely tikka masala. we then went on a hunt to find Raffles. Found it and its very impressive and very posh. walked back and went up on the hostel roof and we have an amazing view of the city all lit up. thats all for the first day!!

Day 2

Couldnt sleep last night :o( but we had a bit of a lie in and got up at 10.

Went to Singapore Zoo today which was pretty good saw all the usual animals - tigers, giraffes, elephants etc and got a little tram ride round the whole park. was soooo hot and sticky tho and sweat drips down ur face and back which is gross but everyones the same! ive hardly eaten a thing today just too hot and bothered. so my plan of coming home skinny might work haha.

going out bit later to get some tea havent decided where yet and i think were going for a wander down orchard road - will update later
